Happy Birthday to Gary Rossington born today in 1951. He is the Guitarist and founding member of Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, and is the only founding member that is still alive. He survived the October 1977 plane crash that killed several bandmembers, then founded Rossington-Collins Band with other Skynyrd alumni Allen Collins. He still tours with Lynyrd Skynyrd's current version of the band.
